THE ROLE

As an Asset Strategy Associate – Damages & Warranty, you will be part of the Asset Strategy team and lead efforts to improve quality control, reduce unidentified damages, and optimize warranty usage across our fleet.

You will take ownership of setting, implementing, and monitoring SOPs related to damage assessment and prevention. You’ll also be responsible for running audit processes, training regional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is crucial to enhancing operational performance and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Based at our Lisbon HQ, this individual contributor role reports directly to the Asset Strategy Director and involves close collaboration with Regional Directors, Depot Managers, Fleet Operations, Product/Platform, and Strategy teams.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Design and roll out SOPs for damage prevention, assessment, and reporting.
  • Build and implement audit processes to monitor SOP adherence and performance.
  • Develop and track KPIs related to damages and warranty usage.
  • Deliver training sessions to local teams and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information reporting across systems and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and improve warranty utilization across regions.
  • Lead change management and manage resistance from local teams when needed.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Quality Management, or related fields.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in quality assurance or control in automotive or rental sectors.
  • Experience creating and implementing SOPs and audit processes.
  • Strong data-driven mindset and comfort with reporting metrics.
  • Experience in training and managing frontline teams.
  • Resilience and ability to manage stakeholder pushback, especially when related to performance-based remuneration.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
