How you will make a difference:
As an Android Software Engineer at Iterable, you'll be part of our channels team working primarily on Android with some exposure to Flutter. You'll contribute to our Android SDK while collaborating on cross-platform solutions that power billions of personalized messages worldwide. This role is perfect for someone who's passionate about mobile development, comfortable with AI-assisted coding, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll get to:
- Contribute to the development of our Android SDKs
- Learn and implement best practices in mobile and cross-platform development
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development workflows
- Participate in code reviews and learn from experienced engineers
- Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation
- Work on bug fixes and feature implementations
- Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements
- Support the team during on-call rotations
- Learn about system architecture and component design
- Gain experience with public-facing Android APIs and SDKs
We are looking for people who have:
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of experience in Android development
- Basic knowledge of Java or Kotlin
- Understanding of mobile development fundamentals
- Familiarity with Android development tools and frameworks
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfort with using AI tools for coding assistance and problem-solving
- Ability to articulate your thought process when solving problems
Bonus Points:
- 🚀 Experience with Android Studio and Gradle
- 🐛 Basic understanding of testing frameworks
- 🌎 Interest or experience in cross-platform development with Flutter
- ☁️ Effective use of AI tools for development (Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, etc.)
- 🧩 Experience with version control systems (Git)
