About the role
We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to gather, analyse, and interpret business data from multiple sources to extract meaningful insights that drive business decisions. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving data processes, ensuring high data quality, and supporting different teams with analytical insights. If this sounds exciting, keep reading!
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will:
- Collect, clean, and analyse data to generate valuable business insights,
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support strategic decision-making,
- Automate recurring reports and data processes to improve efficiency,
- Support forecasting activities for different services, ensuring accurate planning and resource allocation,
- Ensure data integrity and quality, identifying and resolving inconsistencies or anomalies,
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations,
- Optimise and automate the medical hours allocation process to enhance operational efficiency.
Here are the skills we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Strong Excel skills (data manipulation, advanced formulas, VBA).
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Apache Superset, or similar).
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset to translate data into actionable insights.
- Storytelling with data – ability to communicate findings clearly to different stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to have:
- Experience with SQL for querying databases.
- Familiarity with Apache Superset or similar business intelligence tools.
- Previous experience in healthcare analytics or the healthcare industry.
