We're looking for a junior software engineer focused on backend development to join one of our product tribes in Lisbon and work on user-facing products, which are at the core of Pipedrive and used by our customers to improve their business results. Our teams span four engineering offices in Europe, and your work will directly impact our more than 100,000 customers.


Our tech stack:

Frontend: React.js, TypeScript

Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, and Fastify. Some PHP and Golang

Storage and messaging: MySQL, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis, and CouchDB

DevOps and Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and GitOps


As a junior developer, you’ll choose a narrow area of focus and technologies to work with. A big part of your job will be learning. You’ll receive plenty of support from your colleagues to accelerate your growth.


Your new adventure:

  • Work with a range of ever-evolving customer-facing features
  • Build and deploy microservices to production and build the necessary service monitoring and alerting system
  • Write automated tests
  • Learn new technologies and ways of working alongside your peers and grow into an independent developer
  • Collaborate closely with your peers and solve problems by writing maintainable code, designing new features and improving existing ones, building prototypes, and conducting quick experiments
  • Perform code reviews and provide quality feedback to peers
  • Help improve the tribe’s services and pay off technical debt over time
