About the job:

We seek a Marketing and Communications Specialist to manage online and offline communication with clients/partners and increase brand awareness.

In this role, you will be part of the Product team, helping them improve the visibility of the LOQR brand across various digital platforms and contributing to implementing our digital strategy.
Marketing Communications Specialist's responsibilities include distributing promotional material, responding to customers’ queries and comments on social media, and networking during marketing events. We are searching for a creative person who can turn our technical words and pictures into a message with a compelling story to engage our clients and partners.

What you'll do:

Work within the Marketing team to find best practices and techniques to implement various activities within Marketing Projects such as:

  • Help us to build up our communications strategy
  • Create and organize a design language for use in all our communications
  • Plan interviews and press conferences
  • Craft and send regular newsletters with company updates
  • Develop deep knowledge of market trends and the competitive landscape to shape marketing and product strategy
  • Create compelling content (e.g., sales collateral, product videos, website copy, blog posts, etc.) to articulate the benefits of our products
  • Create and manage digital marketing/communication activities to generate leads for sales (direct sales and partnerships)
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product
  • Ensure company websites and social media channels are entirely up to date with the latest information and address clients’ queries
  • Brand reputation creation and management
  • Work closely with leadership and the other teams to drive rapid growth
  • Know when to delegate, source, buy, or make the right decisions to balance speed with objectives
  • Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams
  • Create promotional videos and text about our culture, teams, and skills of our human resources

About you:

  • BS/BA degree or higher in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills
  • Ability to position innovative products and tell compelling stories through messaging briefs and marketing collateral
  • Experience defining, managing, and changing corporate positioning and messaging
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Enthusiastic, self-starting and strong ideas
  • Flexible, pragmatic, and comfortable adapting or changing priorities
  • Great written and verbal communication skills (Portuguese and English, Spanish will be valued)
  • Ethical behavior, transparency, and ability to establish trust-based long-term relationships
  • Creativity and out-of-the-box mindset
  • Self-motivated and capable of inspiring teams and individuals
  • Proactive with good organization skills
  • To be allocated to LOQR’s headquarters (Felgueiras or Lisbon), with a flexible remote work policy
