THE ROLE
As a Marketplace Business Development, you will report to the Head of Marketplace Operations and be responsible to create a world-class user experience for our travellers on our website. You will strive to improve user satisfaction with the end goal of increasing conversion in every step of the sales funnel of our website. To achieve those goals you will be required to analyse large datasets, build tools, implement rules and procedures, execute key processes and lead cross functional projects.
As an analyst you can expect a full-time paid internship for 12 months and by the end of the internship, top performers will have the opportunity to continue their career adventure with us with a permanent contract.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Map the traveller journey and identify paints points and improvement opportunities;
- Build and analyse dashboards to identify trends and key focus areas to drive conversion up;
- Analyse large datasets (google analytics and own platform data) to identify trends on Traveller behaviour and Occupancy;
- Share insights on key metrics (Availability, Pricing, Request/PV, Conversion) to the team in order to improve the Ranking on the platform;
- Work closely with the Revenue Management and Marketing teams to improve the Traveller experience and conversion at every touch point : Landing Page, Search, Offer Page, Checkout Page;
- Design, execute (and over time, automate) all the processes needed to ensure a world class traveller experience;
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- BA/BS/Masters in Business, Economics, Finance or Engineering;
- Up to 2 years working experience in consulting, finance or growth stage tech company preferred;
- Highly analytical and data-driven decision making. Excellent command of Excel. Previous experience with Tableau/SQL is a plus;
- Fluent in English (mandatory);
- Outstanding at solving complex problems that require logical reasoning and good analytical skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills;
- Self-starter with ability to take on tasks independently and great team-player;
- Able to work in a highly dynamic and international environment.
