As a Member of Compliance Shared Services at Anchorage Digital, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of compliance and risk management frameworks. You will be responsible for compliance operations, regulatory reporting, and assisting with compliance initiatives across various business functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the company maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.

You will contribute to improving compliance processes, identifying risks, and ensuring that Anchorage Digital operates within the bounds of regulatory and industry standards. As a key individual contributor, you will apply your knowledge of compliance principles to support the broader organization, ensuring both the efficiency and effectiveness of the compliance programs.

Being successful in this role requires the ability to work independently, take initiative, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You will help ensure that the company's compliance programs scale alongside its growth and development.

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management practices, particularly in financial services and digital assets.
  • Apply compliance expertise to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across various functions.
  • Support the implementation of compliance programs and processes, ensuring that they meet regulatory requirements and are aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to collect and analyze compliance-related data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Complexity and Impact of Work:

  • Manage and support the compliance lifecycle for multiple initiatives, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within regulatory standards.
  • Work independently to solve moderately complex problems, proactively managing work priorities and collaborating with stakeholders as needed.
  • Contribute to initiatives that help improve compliance frameworks and ensure that Anchorage Digital operates in compliance with external and internal standards.
  • Drive or support medium-sized compliance projects or tasks, working cross-functionally to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Organizational Knowledge:

  • Develop a solid understanding of Anchorage Digital’s business strategy and objectives, ensuring your work supports broader company goals.
  • Collaborate with other teams to align compliance initiatives with overall business objectives, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that your knowledge of compliance practices is shared within the team and the larger organization, working to avoid any single points of failure.
  • Communication and Influence:

  • Communicate effectively across the organization, clearly articulating requirements and influencing teams to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
  • Act as a resource for other teams, providing guidance and expertise on compliance-related matters.
  • Use compelling arguments to convey insights and make recommendations on how to improve compliance programs and processes.
  • Build positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, to support compliance initiatives.
