About you:
As a Project Manager you will, primarily, lead various project managements at Rauva, from banking implementation to market expansion. In this role, you’ll define the strategy and production vision for Rauva’s bank implementation strategy focusing on the management of the several workstreams, stakeholders, timelines and proper governance.
The ideal candidate will have production experience within the banking sector and worked extensively in a regulated environment, ideally within a credit institution under the ECB.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of banking implementation is being achieved.
- Build and develop the project team with internal resources to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyse project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the projects lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
- Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects
- Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and third-party resources, including vendors and researchers
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
What’s your ideal background?
- Four or more years of project management experience ideally in the fintech or banking sector
- Experience in developing web technologies and software platforms for maximum usability using methodologies such as prince, six sigma, etc
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and in Portuguese
- Excellent presentation skills
- Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 will be preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical or operational projects.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineer or a related field.
- Completed MBA is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with banking regulations, payment systems, or neobank-specific technologies is a strong advantage
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment and ability to multitask
- Appetite to work in tech / startups
- Based in Lisbon, Portugal (not a condition for the initial months but relocation will be required)
