We're looking for you, a meticulous, curious and adaptable senior Back-End Engineer, who has the ability to develop scalable and efficient software solutions, ensuring robust functionality and performance. In addition, you are a collaborative team player, actively supporting and promoting knowledge sharing as part of your approach.
Your role will focus on designing, testing, and implementing back-end systems, playing a key role in building secure, high-performance applications. You will be involved in all stages of back-end development, from database design to API implementation and system architecture. For this reason, it’s expected that you are comfortable working with server-side languages, frameworks, and cloud infrastructure.
Some of your day-to-day tasks will include developing and optimizing APIs, designing and maintaining databases, managing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, writing tests, and ensuring system scalability and reliability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Back-End Engineer.
- Expertise in one or more modern web frameworks, such as Ruby on Rails, Django, or NestJS, with the ability to lead design and architecture decisions.
- Strong database knowledge, including schema design, performance optimization, and data integrity practices using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and/or Redis.
- Solid experience designing and building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, and integration with third-party services.
- Familiar with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools, including the ability to design and maintain efficient deployment workflows.
- Proficiency with unit, integration and e2e tests.
- Excellent understanding of English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
It would be awesome if you also have...
- Ability to design and implement applications' architectures in a cloud infrastructure service. GCP and AWS as a plus.
- Ability to build and run Docker containers.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and uphold best practices within the engineering team.

Compensation
- The salary range from this role is between €43,626 to €61,126 annual gross which includes meal, vacation, and Xmas allowance.
