Mollie is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Senior Payroll Specialist to join our talented finance team based in Amsterdam.
What you will be doing
- Responsible for payroll across multiple countries, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and working closely with the HR team.
- Setting up our payroll in new countries where Molllie has expanded
- Benefits administration. We offer a range of benefits and you will need to make sure that all of these are up to date and processed through payroll accurately.
- Managing the monthly payroll processes including salary data: analyzing, processing, checking data input and output, review payslips and corrections.
- Answer questions from employees regarding payroll.
- Review payroll GL accounts and provide journal entries to the Financial Reporting team.
- Perform internal audits and/or support external wage tax audits when required.
- Process improvements: Streamline payroll processes, reporting and systems.
What you will bring
- 7-10 years of previous experience in global payroll
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
- Ability to contribute your own ideas and work autonomously
- Ability to take ownership of tasks whilst managing competing priorities
- Experience with Papaya Global preferred but not required
- Fluent in English.
