Job Description
There are NO limits to your career: come shape the future and be part of a truly unique global culture at OutSystems!
About This Role
Product Owners work embedded in Product Teams providing business guidance while participating in strategic decisions with Product Management. Product Owners use domain knowledge to align value (with Product Management), experience (with UX) and feasibility (with Arch/Eng) of Product initiatives.
Product Owners break down the Initiative into Team backlogs, and plan an incremental delivery of value with constant feedback and product demos, while managing dependencies and risks, releasing and validating outcomes. They aim towards Doing the Right Thing, rather than just “Get Things Done” throughout the product delivery life cycle, helping OutSystems' mission of making software development available to everyone.
The Product Owner is responsible for owning the backlog for a particular team and working with the team as they develop stories, use cases and functional specifications. Once the team’s backlog is defined and stories are ready, they will continue to assist the release process and work with Product Managers, UXers and Engineering Managers to deliver high-quality software while ensuring the team is building the right product.
As a Product Owner, you’re expected to understand the dynamics of a SaaS & On-Prem solution and the value of incremental delivery within a CI/CD pipeline. The Product Owner will use that knowledge to facilitate the growth of our product.
