2024 marked the public launch of startupjobs.pt - our curated platform of up-to-date jobs from Portugal’s vibrant startup ecosystem 🚀

• Reached +1,000 Active Job Postings: This represents a remarkable +93% growth since our launch back in March.
• Engineering & Data (450+ active jobs) and Marketing & Sales (180+ active jobs) emerged as the top areas with the highest number of active job postings.
• 600+ in-person/hybrid jobs based in Portugal and 400+ remote jobs, highlighting the flexibility of roles available on our platform.

We’re proud to have created a platform that empowers startups to thrive by attracting the right talent. Here’s how we supported companies in 2024:

• 102 Listed Companies (+79% growth since launch): From emerging startups to established scaleups, we’ve built a network that is representative of Portugal’s vibrant ecosystem and international companies hiring in Portugal.
• 45 Companies Made in Portugal: Supporting local innovation has been a key focus, with notable startups like Aptoide, Codacy, Coverflex, Infraspeak, Unbabel, and others built in Portugal or by Portuguese founders.
• 33 Unicorns: Including the 7 unicorns with Portuguese DNA - Anchorage Digital, Farfetch, Feedzai, OutSystems, Remote, Sword Health, Talkdesk - highlighting the global outreach of companies present on our platform.
• Software Development (27 companies) and Retail & Marketplaces (14 companies) were the leading industries with the highest representation.
