THE ROLE
As an Asset Specialist part of our Western Europe regional operations team you'll focus on executing regional processes and managing a set of our local depots and their respective local teams. You will be focused on executing daily operations in order to drive operational results on availability of the fleet, customer satisfaction driven by the quality of the fleet and the operational efficiency of operating those assets.
You will have ownership on the execution of end-to-end processes related to those objectives and that span from vehicle management, supplier procurement and management of the relationship, stock management, contact with local operations to logistics, guaranteeing that we follow the procedures that allow for high-quality fleet to be serviced to our customers.
Reporting directly to the Western Europe Regional Operations Director, you will play an essential role in the execution of our operation. You will need to coordinate your actions with your team members and local operations and your actions will have a direct impact on results.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Understand and contribute to the evolution of all asset-management-related procedures designed by central teams and their applicability to your region;
- Maximising fleet availability through good execution of vehicle in-fleeting procedures, vehicle intervention management and vehicle de-fleeting procedures;
- Guarantee that the local structure is stocked with all the required inventory to service the fleet, according to the established models, and execute the purchase of spare parts whenever required;
- Be knowledgeable about the vehicles we operate and assist the local operations in the interventions that are required to be performed in the vehicles of your region;
- Coordinate actions between our local teams and logistics companies to move the fleet according to the requirements of the business;
- Develop our fleet network by procuring, negotiating and managing the relationships with workshops and fleet partners;
- Major contributor and responsible for the vehicle operating costs on your region;
- Contribute to expansion projects of your region.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Background in Engineering, mechanical education, business management or similar education;
- Prone to action. You excel in taking initiative to address operational needs and ensure smooth workflows. Experience in central coordination of fleet management, logistics, or a similar field is a plus;
- Organised and analytical - you look at data to drive your actions and effectively manage your time to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Attention to Detail, while following detailed procedures and ensure precision in execution;
- Team Player - willingness to work closely with your team members and local teams and contribute to the overall objectives;
- Adaptable and resilient - while following procedures you understand how to adapt to unforeseen events in order to reach the end result;
- Good Communicator: Clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external partners;
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
