THE ROLE

As a Controlling Analyst, you’ll be supporting Indie Campers' Financial Planning and Reporting Team in developing and refining essential reporting structures and analytical frameworks. You will be a key contributor to decision making in operational, financial and strategic matters for a specific region. Your responsibilities will include recurring  financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Reporting directly to the Finance Director with the support of Senior Expert in Financial Planning and analysis, and working very closely with stakeholders all across the organisation.

 

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting;
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance;
  • Collaborate with accounting and controlling to ensure the accuracy of financial records;
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting;
  • Identify trends and provide recommendations for cost optimization;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures;
  • Coordinate with the company's stakeholders  to gather necessary data for financial analysis;
  • Present financial findings to senior management and stakeholders.

    KPIs:

  • Accuracy of management accounts and forecasts;
  • # days to close the monthly management accounts;
  • # days to close the budget/reforecast.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field;
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software tools;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically;
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative;
  • Eligibility for IEFP;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are a plus.
