Long story short, you will

As a Finance Systems Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage and maintain the systems used within the finance department at W.A Technology. You will be tasked with overseeing the implementation, configuration, and optimization of accounting software and other relevant systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient workflow processes.

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

  • System Implementation: Lead the deployment of accounting software, ensuring it meets business needs and complies with regulations and industry standards.
  • Customization & Configuration: Tailor system settings to align with the company’s chart of accounts, reporting needs, and operational workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Data Management: Oversee financial data accuracy, including entry, validation, and reconciliation, while implementing robust controls to maintain data integrity.
  • Integration: Collaborate with Tech, BI, and other teams to seamlessly integrate accounting systems with ERP (Business Central), CRM (Zoho), and other business tools.
  • Maintenance & Upgrades: Manage system updates, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations and optimal system performance.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to enhance workflows through automation (e.g., invoice processing, bank reconciliations) and implement best practices to improve efficiency.
  • Training & User Support: Provide training and ongoing support to users, serving as the key point of contact for system-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure financial systems adhere to accounting regulations and internal controls, assisting with internal and external audit processes as required.


Your areas of knowledge and expertise :

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role with a deep understanding of financial processes, reporting, and compliance.
  • Experience in finance systems implementation, configuration, and optimization.
  • Track record of streamlining financial workflows and integrating technology for efficiency.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards (IFRS), and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Business Central and Power BI (Power Query); Zoho and Tableau knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between finance and IT, working closely with both technical teams and finance leadership.
  • Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate finance needs into technical solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience with system implementation and project management (Monday.com) is a plus.
  • Experience with financial data structures and automation (SQL or VBA is a plus).
