We're now in search of a new #bloqstar to join us as a Inventory Specialist. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in overseeing all aspects of operational processes within the company, with a focus on managing our inventory levels across our different warehouses and regions. This role will also be responsible for the backup of our transportation/shipping activities in different regions and will play a key role in supporting the company’s rapid growth.
What will be your responsibilities
- Ensuring that all inventory movements are being done in a timely manner in our ERP.
- Control and monitor optimum inventory levels in different warehouses to ensure cost-efficiency and minimize carrying costs.
- Assists in the ERP maintenance in the inventory module (stock control and movements).
- Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Proactively identify and communicate to internal stakeholders low stock or out-of-stock situations for immediate replenishment.
- Analyze and control operational performance indicators (related to inventory levels and costs) and optimize the existing processes;
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field;
- Live in Portugal;
- At least 3 years of experience in Inventory Management;
- Advanced level of English and Portuguese, other languages would be a plus;
- Proficient in ERP, logistics or inventory management software;
- Analytical, methodical and process oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously improving environment;
- Good communication, team collaboration and organizational skills;
- Great negotiation skills;
- Advanced problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail;
- Proactive, always looking to improve established processes and collaborating with other teams to find new improvement possibilities.
Extra valued skills
- Experience with Odoo is a big plus.
- Experience in inventory management within multiple locations.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining ERP.
