Long story short, you will
As a Legal Counsel your primary responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts. You will be providing legal advice on contractual issues and assist in negotiating commercial deals, drafting legal documentation and ensuring fit-for-purpose, risk-adjusted contracts and templates to support all key relationships.
This exciting opportunity offers a remote work arrangement based in one of the following locations: Bulgaria, Portugal or Malta, with occasional travel required.
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Legal.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including B2B reseller agreements, game provider contracts, PSP agreements, marketing contracts, and employment agreements.
- Provide legal advice on data protection matters, including drafting/reviewing data processing agreements, managing DSARs, and conducting DPIAs.
- Advise technical and product teams on Privacy by Design and oversee internal data protection policies and procedures.
- Support compliance and technical teams with data mapping and deliver privacy training and awareness programs.
- Manage corporate legal matters, including intra-company agreements, board resolutions, and corporate governance.
- Cooperate with external legal advisors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and prepare reports for the Head of Legal.
- Handle general business legal matters, including property, employment, and immigration issues, as needed.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise :
- 3-5 yrs of experience, preferably in the iGaming industry.
- Experience with agreement drafting, review, and negotiation.
- Experience with regulatory updates and research.
- Advanced level of spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in using Jira, GDrive, MS applications.
- Proactive, having attention to detail.
- Business-oriented and having a systematic approach.
- Core areas of expertise: commercial law; intellectual property, corporate law
