We are looking for a Maintenance Process Specialist to join our Deployment & Maintenance (D&M) Team. This role will be responsible for mapping, documenting, and optimizing all maintenance processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and best practices across our operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, process-oriented thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid position, ideally based in Portugal but open to one of the offices in Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Milan, Brussels, Paris or Amsterdam.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Map and document all maintenance processes, ensuring clear and structured guidelines for internal teams and external partners;
• Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance guides, technical manuals, procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency;
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimize maintenance workflows and reduce downtime;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and countries to ensure best practices are shared and implemented across all maintenance activities;
• Support the development and implementation of new tools and technologies to streamline maintenance operations;
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance efficiency, response times, and overall service quality;
• Act as a point of contact for maintenance process inquiries and provide training on best practices and process changes;
• Be up to date on new products, product improvements and technical changes in products;
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies regarding maintenance procedures.

What are the requirements to join us in this position?

• 5 to 8 years of experience in maintenance process management, business process analysis, or a similar role within a technical or operational environment;
• Strong experience in process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma);
• Ability to analyze maintenance data and identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization;
• Excellent technical writing skills to create detailed and user-friendly maintenance documentation;
• Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or other maintenance tracking tools;
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across multiple teams;
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) - additional European languages are a plus;
• Ability to work independently and proactively drive process improvements;

Extra Valued Skills

• Experience in startups or fast-growing companies;
• Knowledge of IoT-enabled maintenance solutions;
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track and report on maintenance KPIs;
• Understanding of asset management and predictive maintenance strategies.
