We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Portugal. As our company, revenue, and team continue to grow, we are searching for an individual who thrives on challenges, has a keen eye for detail, and desires to make a significant impact across our organization in a dynamic role. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all financial activities specific to the Portuguese entity, encompassing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting, as well as managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will also ensure compliance with all tax and fiscal obligations, maintaining accurate and timely financial records in alignment with local regulations and international accounting standards. In addition, you will collaborate closely with several Finance Team members, providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Furthermore, you will liaise with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements. Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for Portuguese legal entity and other group entities Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of monthly and quarterly equity and payroll expense workpapers for the Company’s payroll and equity-related accountsEnsure accuracy and completeness of financial data in accordance with Portuguese GAAP (SNC) and US GAAPPrepare monthly intercompany reconciliations and settle outstanding balances in a timely manner Maintain the integrity of balance sheet accounts through preparation and review of reconciliations, verifying account activity and balances for accuracy and reasonablenessAnalyze and process accounts payable in a timely manner. Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoicesAssist the outsourced local accountants in ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger maintained under Portuguese GAAP (SNC).
