We are now looking for a Sales & Onboarding Training Associate to join the team and be influential in supporting our staff with L&D in multiple global regions.

What you'll achieve at Web Summit

  • This role is 70% Sales training and 30% New Hire Onboarding training.

  • Sales training:

  • You will educate on all elements of selling, ie. how to open a call, develop the need, propose a solution, close, handle objections, upsell and cross sell. Also how to deal with inbound and outbound calls, lead generation, proposal writing, forecasting, managing pipeline, call shadowing, call roleplays, and aiding in performance management where applicable.
  • You will listen regularly to sales calls and see where blind spots exist and give insight on how to accelerate their calls and shorten their sales cycles. 
  • You will do group sales roleplays to encourage learning. 
  • You will deliver the induction Sales Training for all new hires who are joining in a sales capacity. 
  • You will work closely with our Sales Managers to give value add where needed to aid sellers on how to manage and progress their targets.

  • Onboarding Training:

  • You will deliver a warm and enthusiastic onboarding experience to New Hires.
  • You will learn our company and products quickly to teach this.
  • You will ensure all material is kept up to date and relevant as the business changes and evolves.
  • You will own all New Hire class administration and manage the internal Buddy program.
  • Skills and abilities we're looking for

  • 3+ years in a front-facing Learning & Development trainer role.
  • You have sales training experience. You have experience of targets yourself and of closing modest to high value sales deals, engaging with Startups, to SMB to large Enterprise.
  • You have run in-house New Hire onboarding.
  • You are passionate about developing others and a love of Learning & Development.
  • You are a self-starter with lots of initiative and creativity.
  • You have a proven strong experience in stakeholder management.
  • You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • You are fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and verbal.
  • You have excellent time management skills.
  • You are proficient in Google Slides, Google Mail & Google Sheets.
  • You have the ability and desire to travel as per business requirements.
