We are seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager to lead the development and launch of innovative products. This is a unique opportunity to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of products that will shape the future of privacy-focused data management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the data privacy landscape and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic product initiatives.
As a key member of our product team, you will work cross-functionally to build scalable solutions that address the evolving needs of our customers and the broader market. This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for developing cutting-edge, privacy-first products.
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with Usercentrics' mission of enhancing user privacy and compliance. Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap, balancing short-term needs with long-term product innovation.
- Customer Focus: Engage with B2B customers to understand their needs, translating insights into product features and enhancements that drive value and address market challenges.
- Technical Strategy: Partner with engineering teams to define technical requirements, ensuring seamless integration with various platforms and services.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the data privacy space, applying insights to influence product direction.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure that products comply with global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and others, supporting customers in maintaining compliance.
- Performance Monitoring: Define key performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to iterate and enhance the product’s performance.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the product team, with opportunities to expand into a player/coach role.
- Experience: 6+ years of product management experience with a focus on SaaS products; experience in the privacy technology space is highly preferred.
- Data Privacy & Security: Familiarity with data privacy, security, and compliance concepts, including knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, or other global data privacy regulations.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, building consensus, and managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Agile & Lean Product Development: Deep experience working with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and Lean product development to efficiently bring products to market. Proficiency in managing product backlogs, prioritizing features, and refining product requirements for successful releases.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including engineering, sales, marketing, legal, and customer support. Strong skills in building consensus and advocate for product priorities in alignment with company goals.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven mindset to identify challenges and drive product improvements.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
