As a Digital Transformation Team Lead, you will be pivotal in driving and overseeing complex digital transformation initiatives globally.
This role requires a deep understanding of digital technologies, exceptional product and project management skills, and the ability to provide formal leadership to cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for developing and executing digital transformation strategies, managing projects, and ensuring successful outcomes that align with the organization's global objectives.

Digital Strategy Execution:
Lead the execution of the organization's digital strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and global objectives.
Leadership & Team Management
Project Leadership:
Oversee multiple digital transformation initiatives simultaneously, providing direction, guidance, and formal team leadership. Set clear goals and deliverables. Oversee the delivery of high-impact digital solutions that drive customer success. Ensure consistency and that all projects follow Sprint 0 best practices for clear problem definition and feasibility assessment.
Balance speed and quality, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.
Remove blockers, manage risks, and escalate challenges proactively.
Work closely with engineering, UX, customer success, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.
Optimize Customer journey: You will play a critical role in supporting OutSystems’ customer journey and driving the creation of digital products that elegantly, consistently, and engagingly support that journey. A B2B customer journey is complex, and you always strive to ensure your online platforms achieve your customers' goals. At the same time, you understand that the customer experience mimics the employee experience, making it imperative that internal systems are streamlined for an efficient operation.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage advanced data analytics and business intelligence to make informed decisions, identify opportunities for optimization, and enhance processes and web experiences. Foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
Ensure solutions are delivered to enhance the user experience and deliver measurable business value. Work with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into technical execution. Track and report on key operational and business impact metrics.
Operational Execution & Prioritization: Drive operational execution, ensuring that digital initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact. Establish clear prioritization frameworks, ensuring the most critical work gets addressed first while balancing short-term needs and long-term scalability. Define and streamline processes to optimize team efficiency and minimize unnecessary complexity. Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring teams focus on impactful outcomes rather than just outputs. Continuously evaluate and refine execution strategies to improve speed, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, to gain buy-in and support for digital transformation initiatives. Effectively communicate progress and outcomes. Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. Ensure decisions are made transparently and with stakeholder input from day 0. Proactively manage cross-team dependencies and align priorities.
Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of digital solutions. Address resistance and facilitate a cultural shift toward digital readiness.
Team Management: Build and lead cross-functional delivery teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance. Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital transformation initiatives, including technology risks, legal and compliance risks, and operational disruptions.
Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost-effective delivery of digital initiatives.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of digital deliverables by defining and monitoring project quality standards and conducting regular reviews.
Vendor and Partner Management: Evaluate and select technology vendors, service providers, and strategic partners that align with the desired goals. Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
Innovation and Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends, assess their relevance to the organization, and recommend adoption strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or additional certifications in product management or digital transformation preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading digital transformation projects on a global scale.
- Strong analytical skills, and ability to gather, interpret, and analyze information to solve complex problems.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, emerging trends, and their application in business contexts.
- Proven track record of successful leadership and execution, with formal leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent product management skills, including managing prioritization, solution design and implementation.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in change management principles and methodologies.
- Experience in vendor and partner management.
- Relevant certifications in product management or digital transformation (e.g., PMP, Prince2, CDTMP) are a plus.
