Operations Manager - Technical Support (EV Charging Industry)

Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a Mid-Level Operations Manager to join our Central Operations Team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience in a technical support or operations role who is ready to take the next step in their career by managing multiple stakeholders, optimizing processes, and ensuring our EV charging network operates seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and Support: Help our local operations teams across 6 European countries (Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Poland) by building and optimizing tools and processes to ensure uptime and world-class maintenance of our EV charging network.
- Drive Innovation: Constantly create new processes to accelerate operations on the ground and work closely with our data teams to provide actionable insights.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Prepare and monitor reports, using data and analytics to make decisions that will optimize performance and streamline processes.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team responsible for monitoring and managing Powerdot’s network backlog, ensuring top performance across markets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Product, and other departments to define and optimize campaigns and processes that keep us ahead of the curve.
Who you are:
- 2-3 years' experience in technical support, operations management, or a related role.
- Problem-solving mindset: You thrive on finding solutions, and you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Team leader: Experience managing and training teams, ensuring top-notch performance and motivation.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data.
- Entrepreneurial spirit: Ability to make decisions quickly and take ownership of important tasks.
- Passion for sustainable mobility and a desire to play a role in a fast-growing industry. (Experience in electric mobility is a plus, but not required—we’ll train you up!)
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French or Portuguese is a bonus.
- Based in Lisbon or willing to relocate.
